The Castel Rigone Wedding Estate

Castel Rigone · Umbria · Italy

A wedding in a historic Umbrian village, with the celebration and the time around it shaped around you. Discover a setting for gathering your guests, sharing your wedding day, and considering a stay together in Castel Rigone.

01 / Introduction

A Wedding With a Village Sense of Place

At Relais La Fattoria, The Castel Rigone Wedding Estate brings your wedding into the setting of an Umbrian village. Its historic residence and stone surroundings offer a different starting point for imagining a celebration: the atmosphere of the place, the people you bring together, and the time you want to share.

With The Olive Grove, that starting point becomes a conversation about your wedding. We consider your guest numbers, preferred dates, the stay you have in mind, and the practical requirements of the celebration before developing a personalized proposal.

02 / The Setting

The Character of Castel Rigone

Stone buildings, village surroundings, and views toward Lake Trasimeno give this setting its Umbrian character. The Estate belongs to Castel Rigone, within the municipality of Passignano sul Trasimeno, where the village and the wider landscape form the backdrop to time spent here.

The appeal is in the relationship between the residence and its surroundings: gathering at the Estate, looking out toward the landscape, and experiencing a wedding destination with a village identity. The photographs introduce those different perspectives, from the building itself to its reception spaces and outdoor areas.

03 / Your Wedding

Begin With the Wedding You Imagine

Wedding receptions can welcome up to 200 guests. The right arrangement for your celebration depends on the number of people attending, the spaces involved, and the way you would like the day to unfold.

A smaller gathering and a larger reception call for different decisions. We begin by understanding your plans, then consider the reception setting, your accommodation needs, and the weather contingency together. The reception capacity and the capacity for an entirely indoor event are different, so both matter from the beginning.

Tell us what is most important to you, whether that is bringing a larger group together for the wedding or spending time at the Estate with the guests staying overnight.

04 / Spaces & Celebrations

Plan the Celebration and the Weather Alternative

The Estate's reception photographs show indoor spaces and outdoor gathering settings. How those spaces are used for your wedding is considered as part of the event arrangement, with guest numbers and the weather alternative assessed together.

An Entirely Indoor Event

The Estate can accommodate an entirely indoor event for up to 90 guests. This is the indoor rain-contingency limit; it does not extend to a reception of 200 guests. If your celebration is larger, a suitable alternative needs to be considered separately.

A Marquee for a Larger Celebration

A marquee may be an option for larger celebrations, subject to availability, suitable sizing, and the requirements of the individual event. It is a separate arrangement agreed with you and is not part of the standard Estate arrangement.

Where adverse weather is forecast, the weather assessment takes place at least seven days before the event. A marquee is not automatically reserved or guaranteed, so the appropriate plan must be considered for your wedding.

05 / Stay & Accommodation

Stay at the Estate

Staying where you celebrate can bring a different rhythm to the wedding: arriving, settling in, and sharing time with the guests who stay at the property.

Accommodation for Your Wedding Stay

The Estate's published accommodation information lists 30 rooms for up to 60 overnight guests. The room arrangement for your wedding stay is confirmed when we develop your proposal, taking account of the guests who will stay at the Estate.

There is no minimum-stay requirement. The length of your stay is considered in relation to your wedding plans and the arrangements you choose.

When Exclusive Use Is Available

Exclusive use is available only for stays of two or more nights when all accommodations are occupied by your wedding party. Both conditions must be met. A stay of two nights alone does not provide exclusive use, and without full occupancy the Estate is non-exclusive.

For the wider wedding group, explore Stay & Guests to understand how accommodation needs and group logistics can be considered within the agreed wedding arrangements.

An Experience Developed Around Your Wedding

The Olive Grove begins with the wedding you want to create and develops the proposal around it. The Estate, your stay, the celebration, and the support you need are considered together, with the applicable arrangements defined for your wedding.

Our All-Inclusive approach means an integrated, personalized experience. What belongs in your proposal depends on the services expressly agreed with you. We will clarify how that approach applies to your wedding at Castel Rigone as the proposal takes shape.

Wedding Coordination focuses on the agreed wedding program and the coordination scope established with you. Accommodation needs and wedding-group logistics can also be discussed through you or your authorized contact, within the support agreed for your group.

The aim is a clear, connected experience, beginning with a direct conversation and developing through the decisions that matter for your wedding.
